Re-opening Port Byron Public Library For Curbside Pickup

The Port Byron Library is pleased to announce we will begin contactless curbside pickup June 15, 2020.
Use your library card on our online catalog (or call us for help). When your items are ready, we’ll call
you. Once you notify the library of your arrival, items placed on hold will be placed on the delivery table
in a non-returnable plastic bag for your pick up. Please observe social distancing rules at all times on
library property.

  •  Procedure:
    • Place hold requests using the library catalog or by phone (315-776-5694)
      We will call you when your holds are ready to be picked up. You may not get all of your
      hold items at one time if they are not available.
      Items will be checked out on the card that was used to place the holds.
      You will be assigned a time for pickup
      Notify us when you arrive and we will bring your items out to the table
      Please remain in your car until the staff is inside!
  •  You MUST wear a mask, even if you don’t get out of your car
  • PLEASE return all items to the outside book drop bin of the library where you checked
    them out
  • Our hours for pick up will be Monday and Wednesday from 3-8, Tuesday and Thursday
    from 10 am to 6pm, and Friday from 3-6.
  • Phone services will be available for requests and assistance
